Camp Freddie who withdrew the statement claiming he fell out with Wenger and calling his approach 'militaristic' got me thinking. Sure he has some players who look like soldiers (Philippe Senderos for one, and Manuel Almunia kind of reminds me of Captain 'Howling Mad' Murdoch from the A-Team.. if only he had Jens Lehmann's brains).. but for the most part it seems that the team would more likely be hippy anti-war protesters than part of an army. William Gallas would obviously lead the sit-ins.
Meanwhile in other news, we're after Aaron 'the new Ryan Giggs' Ramsey of Cardiff and Wales. Didn't they read my column last week? C'mon guys, make him the 'new Robert Earnshaw' to give him a fighting chance. Again a young prospect which is great if there was a plan to sign some more youth and also separately add in some experience. But this kid does look very promising, and with a battle between us, United, Everton and Liverpool it would certainly win plenty of bragging rights if we signed the kid... who cares if he can play ball! But despite his youth and Welshness, he plays on the wing and isn't Eboué so how bad can this be? A signing is a signing... I just hope he doesn't mind the commando drill and parachute jumps into Afghanistan that Arsene likes in his pre-season training.

Keeping it real low key and short today Gooner's. I'm receiving quite a few All Time 11's, which surprises in there that's all I can say. So if you think you may not agree with the final 11 then have your say and get your vote on and send in them emails, you know it makes sense.
Send your All Time Arsenal 11 emails to: alltimeeleven[@]allgoonerdup.com (obviously remove that thing around the 'at' sign).
s nice, so keep them flooding in as your opinion will be posted next week. There's one or two s
Not happy with getting Mathieu Flamoney apparently AC Milan are looking to splash the cash and get hold of Emmanuel Adebayor. Now the price being banded about is £32m, now that is a spicy meatball! It isn't going to happen although some sites would have you believe it's a done deal. In fact The Telegraph had a headline yesterday basically meant to get the most amount of hits and get Arsenal fans nervous: Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor agrees move to AC Milan, which must of worked as it is still currently the top story on NewsNow. Now posts like this really piss me off because you think to yourself it's a load of bollocks so I wont click on the story' but as much as you don't want to it's like watching a car crash you don't want to rubber neck but you feel you just 'have to'. Anyway as said the story is a load of balls as the first line in the report goes: Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has agreed a deal to join AC Milan, according to reports in Italy. According to reports. According? What the fuck do you mean 'According' well if it's according then fuck me, 'according' to spurs fans they are a big club, 'according' to Didier Drogba he is not a diving cheating greasy haired bstad, 'according' to C*ntley C*nt he isn't a money grabbing dwarf, pop tart marrying, unscrupulous, money grabbing, unloyal, little shite. So you can stick your 'according' up your arse. Also it's 'according to the Italian press' that's about as reliable as Robin van Persie playing more than three games in a row. Also £32m for Adebayor! I know it's silly season but god damn!
Our old duffer of a chairman and Old Etonian 'Sir' Peter Hill-Wood who had a dose of xenophobia last year when yank* Stan Kroenke bought into The Arsenal by saying in a very ill advised way 'We don't want his sort' has done a complete U-turn. The mad old duffer has now said he wouldn't mind getting the septic on the board, but it amazes me how people conduct business in the press and not in private or between he parties they should be talking to. Hill-Wood hasn't by the looks of things spoken to Kroenke about it as he has said:
"I think he could make a contribution - whether he would want to do it, I don't know."
Well try speaking to Kroenke and offer him a place on the board FFS, or you just hoping that he picks up the paper and reads your comments?
Other than that those two/weeks have passed now and still there is no sign of any new 'big talents' at The Arsenal that Arsene Wenger was chatting about. And like the new signings which were promised and didn't materialise same goes for the Allgoonerdup 2007/08 Season Awards which were going to be sorted for today. Well as you can see they are not here but they will be next week or there about's - a bit like our signings. Actually I wont be so vague, they will be here next week good people - got to have something to look forward to and cheer!
That's my lot it's been a pleasure and emotional - see you in the comments bit!
